In Long Beach, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across California do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–1 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The breakfast sandwiches are so good! The eggs are freshly made and tender. Everything bagel is extra garlicky, just the way I like it. They open early (8am) and there was parking right out front. Good coffee too!

I ordered a peanut butter cup iced latte and an original breakfast burrito! The barista recommended macadamia nut milk and it was absolutely delightful. The employee making the food came out to double check I was okay with cheese in my burrito and I was in awe of the attention to detail!! I luckily can tolerate a little dairy a day so I kind of budget to make sure I don’t get sick and the staff was super kind about it. My fiancΓ© had the brioche sausage bun and an iced horchata latte and also very much enjoyed it!

I had them make me a cake for my 40th birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a Swiss buttercream espresso with chocolate ganache, and I received so many compliments on it from my guests! Highly recommend!

Matcha tasted like watery milky seaweed and was mealy, it separated easily and the particles reformed quickly after being stirred. If you want a matcha, I would not recommend. However, my friend got a buttermilk biscuit with blackberry jam which was delicious! Great spot for pastries.

Great coffee! Flavorful and aromatic. I had the planada pour over-black. It's starts off mild with tropical notes and dims out at the end. I paired it with a banana scone. Service was fast and direct. I enjoyed the fact the barista prepped the pour over in front of me. The shop is quiet and large. There's enough tables and chairs to get some study or work done.
